Staying in a Noe Valley Vacation Home has long been seen as one of the most desirable neighborhoods to stay in San Francisco, California. Unfortunately for many of the people who dream of living in Noe Valley, the price tags reflect the quality of this neighborhood, and many individuals can't afford the rent or housing prices here. The good news is that patient and persistent home buyers can often find a gem to buy or rent in this coveted San Francisco neighborhood. Noe Valley is a great neighborhood, giving a very local and small town feel to the neighborhood even in a large city like San Francisco. Part of this is because Noe Valley is sheltered from the fog and the franchise rows of many cities. There are many locally owned cafes, "mom and pop" stores and boutiques which can be found along Noe Valleys 24th Street, and a thriving farmer's market that is famous in the entire San Francisco area. Noe Valley is very popular for many reasons beyond just the good weather, beautiful neighborhoods, and quality upscale housing market.
Many residents love enjoying the local sites and attractions that are a major benefit of living in Noe Valley. The Dubliner is a local pub that many locals describe as having a "glorious" beer selection. Dolores Park is enjoyed by outdoor types, while being close to the Mission is consistently appreciated by residents who are enjoying living in Noe Valley. Some of the other local shops and attractions that benefit Noe Valley residents include Drewes Brothers Butcher Shop, Incanto, and 24th Street. There's a combination of local and yuppie, and it's not hard to see why so many San Francisco residents would choose to live in this neighborhood.
The biggest impediment for most people who want to live in this great upper class neighborhood is that the housing and rent prices can be high, even by San Francisco standards where properties command a premium. Even after the housing downturn and the current economy, the average rent range for a studio apartment is $1100-$2550, while two bedroom apartments start around $2,200 a month. "Cheap" Noe Valley vacation homes can be found and the average price for a single-family home can easily be well over a million dollars. If you can afford it, however, there are few experiences in San Francisco better than staying in a Noe Valley vacation home.
